Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has introduced the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha. The Bill proposes amendments to key laws with the aim of attracting more foreign investment, improving the ease of doing business, and supporting the Make in India initiative.
