The CB-CID police on Thursday (August 6, 2026) arrested suspended Sub-Registrar Justin Manikandan Subramanian, one of the accused in the case pertaining to the fraudulent registration of Palani math land. The CB-CID police arrested him in Kodaikanal in Dindigul district a day after the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court dismissed his anticipatory bail petition. The court also dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by Jeyaprakash who is said to be a document writer. Earlier, the court had dismissed the anticipatory bail petition of another accused, K. Vellathurai. The Palani Adivaram police had registered a case in the fraudulent registration of Palani math land.
