CCTV footage showed roads eroded by floodwaters and rescue workers transporting relief supplies, including water and rice, on foot in Zhen'an County in Shangluo City. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue in the region, CCTV said. More than 140,000 people have been evacuated in Shaanxi since July 30, according to local authorities. The flooding comes as China prepares for Typhoon Dolphin, which is expected to make landfall along the country's eastern coast between Shanghai and Fujian from Aug. 9-10. The storm is forecast to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds.
