Heavy rains continued to trigger landslides and rockfalls in parts of the Cordillera region while rough seas forced authorities in Dagupan City to keep a ban on swimming, surfing and fishing, as weather conditions worsened due to #MaymayPH.
In Benguet, a landslide struck the foot of a mountain near Lamtang Elementary School in Barangay Puguis, La Trinidad.
Meanwhile, authorities continued to monitor and clear falling rocks and debris along Camp 2 of Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet to keep traffic moving safely.
In Dagupan City, local authorities continued to enforce a no swimming, surfing and fishing policy in coastal villages because of dangerous sea conditions.
