Global technology major IBM on Wednesday expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the launch of its new IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre at Lansom Square, at Isukathota junction in the city. The facility was jointly inaugurated by Information Technology and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh and IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel. Designed to power global Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation initiatives, the new center would deliver high-end consulting and technology services to international clients. Usha Srikanth, Managing Partner for IBM Consulting India, added that Visakhapatnam’s emerging talent base and strong educational infrastructure made the city an ideal strategic hub to accelerate digital modernisation. IBM Consulting has its FutureNow framework across 15 locations in India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mysuru, Noida, Pune, and now Visakhapatnam.
