With captain Roston Chase restricted to just seven overs because of an injured index finger, Warrican bowled 46 overs — 40% of West Indies’ total workload — to limit Pakistan’s lead to 43 runs.
Pakistan, however, regained control before stumps as off-spinner Sajid Khan claimed four wickets to leave West Indies struggling at 103-6 in their second innings, a lead of just 60 runs.
“As a team we’ve got to get close to 150-175 to be comfortable and have a game,” Warrican said.
