Sri Aurobindo Society to hold conclave on preserving Siddha traditions of Puducherry

The Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) will hold a global conclave titled ‘Preserving Siddha Traditions of Puducherry: Heritage, Symbolism and Community Collaboration’ here on August 5.
According to Kishor Kumar Tripathy, member secretary, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS), the event will mark the unveiling of a digital portal on ‘Siddha Tradition of Puducherry’ and the establishment of Global Siddha Heritage Research Network.
The conclave will bring together religious leaders, Siddha practitioners, heritage experts, policymakers, researchers, and representatives of academic institutions and government agencies.
The SAS has launched a mission to preserve and promote Siddha heritage through creation of a digital repository.
Started by AuroBharati, the initiative aims to strengthen research, documentation, and international cooperation to safeguard Siddha traditions with special emphasis on Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s vision of spiritual evolution and sustainable health.
