The Puducherry Traffic Police have arrested a man for allowing his minor son to drive his car and perform rash stunts on road. According to D. Divya, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, the father of a juvenile who was found driving a car in a rash and dangerous manner on Marina Beach Road was arrested. A friend of the juvenile who had captured the minor performing stunts on camera in the car was also arrested. “Apart from the two cases registered, we have initiated action in 236 cases involving riding/driving by minors last month alone. The focus of the drive was also to prevent minors from using vehicle, she said.
