The family of two teenage brothers assaulted by two other males in a suburb of Cork City are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Two boys, aged 17 and 15, were attacked on Ballinure Avenue in Mahon at around 9.30pm on Friday. The 17-year-old spent two nights in hospital for treatment, according to his aunt. The 17-year-old required hospital treatment as he took the brunt of the attack. "It is understood that the victim was approached and assaulted by two male youths during the incident.
