(NewsNation) — Two Arizona men detained during the search for Nancy Guthrie have issued a notice of claim against the Pima County sheriff and a detective. Lawyers filed the notice of claim for Carlos Palazuelos and Daniel Maddox, alleging wrongful arrest and property damage. They are seeking $2.5 million in damages to Palazuelos, while offering to settle at $500,000 for Maddox and $250,000 for his mother, also named in the claim.
