Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has assured of taking necessary initiatives to resolve the ongoing gas crisis in the industrial sector. Following the meeting, Shaukat Aziz Russell stated that the gas crisis in the industrial sector has arisen due to a lack of timely decisions. He informed that the Prime Minister is seriously considering the current crisis and problems facing the textile sector. The BTMA president further added that reports have been requested from entrepreneurs to ascertain the actual condition of industrial factories that are either fully shut down or partially affected due to the gas crisis. He expressed hope that the government’s swift initiatives would improve the gas supply situation in the industrial sector and restore production to normalcy.
