The First Information Report was registered on the complaint lodged by the judicial officer, Gayathri, who is serving as the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC, Malur.
Minor incidentThe incident began as a minor road interaction on July 18, 2026, when Vinay on his two-wheeler crossed the car of the Judicial Officer and asked the car driver, who was the judicial officer’s husband, to drive slowly.
Following this, the judicial officer and her husband chased him to his house, where squabble took place between the judicial officer, her husband and the trio.
Later, the trio were summoned to the police station and were let go after warning on the instruction from the judicial officer.
‘No helpless victim’On the complaint lodged by the judicial officer, the High Court said that it “prima facie indicative of the fact that the ego of the judicial officer or her husband is hurt.
