The Phase-I work for a new four-lane bypass Road between Ratchamangalam and S. Pallipattu village, a distance of 5.2 km, on Tirupattur - Singarapettai High Road (SH 18A) near Tirupattur town is nearing completion with black topping of the new stretch in progress. “The new Bypass Road will help decongest narrow stretches in Tirupattur town. The new bypass road will also reduce traffic in the town,” said K. Satish, a motorist. Highways officials, the new bypass road will be laid to a total distance of 14.35 km under two phases. The stretch will connect at least eight farming villages to reach Tirupattur town.
