A woman injured in a wildfire in southern Spain earlier this month has died, the hospital where she was being treated said on Tuesday, taking the death toll from the blaze to 14.
The wildfire that on July 9th tore through the hamlet of Bédar in Almería province, which has a large foreign population, was Spain's deadliest in more than two decades.
Fresh wildfires have struck Spain in recent days, ravaging tens of thousands of hectares west of Madrid but so far causing no reported casualties.

The authorities suspect the wildfire began when a power line broke, setting fire to vegetation that had been parched after hot weather.
