They argued that India has put the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance after the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack and said that bilateral ties remain frozen because of Pakistan’s support for cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. “Their abysmal track record on the protection of minorities and their cultural rights makes such desperate attempts look even more phoney,” said Mr. Jaiswal while responding to a question.
