The man found dead at a Dublin recycling facility had left Cork “safe and well” the previous day, gardaí have established. He arrived there safely but was discovered dead at the Greyhound recycling facility in Clondalkin shortly after 9pm on Friday. Mr Haire had been in a close relationship with Mr Scanlon and had shared a tent with him before his death. The deaths of Mr Scanlon and Mr Warnick prompted renewed debate about the safety and welfare of people experiencing homelessness. Greyhound Recycling said that it was “deeply saddened” by the death of Mr Haire, whose body was found at its recycling facility in Clondalkin.
