A child has died from their injuries following a crash in Shercock, Co. Cavan, on Friday. The crash involved a car and a flatbed van, and occurred after 4.30 pm on the R162 at Corclare. The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the car, a girl, was removed from the scene to Temple Street Hospital, where she passed away on Tuesday afternoon.
