A fire broke out in a residential area in Malate, Manila on Friday night. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire started at 9 p.m. on Leveriza Street in Barangay 705, according to a report by Christian Maño on Dobol B TV on Saturday. The fire reached the second alarm before it was put out at 12:03 a.m. Saturday. The BFP is still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and estimated cost of property damage. The local government unit meanwhile put up a temporary evacuation center near the affected area to shelter residents.
