Nigeria @ 65: CAN urges Fed Govt to tackle insecurityThe Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Wednesday advised the federal government to urgently tackle insecurity. CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, in his 65th independence anniversary message, also pleaded for a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation. Okoh recalled the resilience of Nigerians who have endured civil war, years of instability, and recurring economic and social crises. He said, despite these difficulties, people have shown remarkable courage and faith, sustaining hope in the promise of a better Nigeria. Okoh, in a statement, said, “The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) joins all citizens in celebrating the 65th anniversary of our nation’s independence.
