Ten fire engines and 70 firefighters were called to a fire in an under-renovation kebab shop next to the Odeon cinema on Beckenham High Street on Tuesday morning. The fire is now under control, but crews will remain on the scene in southeast London for some time to fully extinguish the blaze. A spokesperson said: “We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
