Minister for Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav said that around 1.41 lakh people with heart conditions received free medical treatment worth around ₹996 crore through the NTR Vaidya Seva. Mr. Satya Kumar Yadav said that the government has focussed on ensuring that treatment for heart-related problems under NTR Vaidya Seva is available in more hospitals. He added that out of the total expenses on free medical treatments under the NTR Vaidya Seva, most of it was spent on heart ailments. Since June 2024, the government has provided treatment worth ₹5,562 crore through the NTR Vaidya Seva to 19,61,257 people. In the 15 months, 69,926 people received medical treatment through the NTR Vaidya Seva.
