The Sandiganbayan has dismissed graft charges against former Misamis Oriental vice governor Jose Mari Pelaez, Super Radyo dzBB's Allan Gatus said in a report Friday. The Sandiganbayan 6th Division also directed the lifting of the hold departure order issued against him and the return of his bail bond. Meanwhile, Pelaez reportedly welcomed the decision. He said that the case against him was politically motivated and was filed before the elections.
