A 21-year-old baker was seriously injured after his arm was trapped in a dough roller machine in a bakery in Barangay 179 in Maricaban, Pasay City. According to Jhomer Apresto’s report on “Saksi” on Thursday, personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Pasay’s emergency medical services team responded to the incident. The victim sustained a deformity after his arm was entangled in a roller machine and is currently in excruciating pain. His pain level is rated 10/10; the bleedingis also quite severe, so we must stanch the bleeding before transporting them to the hospital,” said FO3 Rowena Manlabao, BFP-Pasay emergency medical services team leader. The barangay said the bakery owner could be held accountable if the investigation shows that there’s no safety feature, like a machine guard, attached to the dough roller.
