Roll Observer and Director of the National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu, A. Arun Thamburaj, along with District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar, conducted a review meeting here on Thursday with the officials regarding the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls – 2026. During the meeting, Mr. Arun Thamburaj, instructed the officials that the applications related to Form 6 must be resolved on a daily basis without any pendency. He directed the election officials to work in coordination to ensure that the electoral roll is prepared comprehensively and without errors. The officials also inspected the mobile demonstration vehicle creating awareness among the public regarding the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) in the Narimedu area, which fell under the Madurai North Assembly Constituency.
