Thundercat is set to release his first album in six years. The album also features “She Knows Too Much,” a previously unheard collaboration with Thundercat’s late friend Mac Miller, plus guest spots from A$AP Rocky, Tame Impala, Channel Tres, and Willow. Distracted continues the themes of grief explored in Thundercat’s fourth album, It Is What It Is, which was partially written about the sudden loss of Miller. “I don’t think the heartbreak ever stopped,” the bassist and singer writes in a press release for Distracted. If it ain’t taxes, it’s World War III.
