Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM) will be launching its new campus in Kalamavur village on the Tiruchi-Pudukottai highway in April this year and inducting an expanded batch of 180 students in June. The new campus is constructed on a 19-acre site that was acquired by the BIM (Tiruchi) Society in 2016. “We have installed air-conditioning in selected areas but are aiming to keep the campus naturally ventilated as far as possible,” said Mr. Barma. Native trees on the site have been transplanted within the campus rather than be cut down, to preserve the natural landscape. The curriculum will be adapted to suit the changing times, said Mr. Barma.
