Food delivery platform Swiggy is now letting users order products with the help of agentic AI workflows. This means users on ChatGPT, Claude, and Google’s Gemini can place orders just by typing what they want into these AI chatbots. Underpinning this connection is the the open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) that lets AI chatbots work with external services and platforms. The integration covers Swiggy Food, Dineout, and Instamart, apart from letting users build carts, apply coupons, and track their deliveries directly through conversational AI tools. To start ordering through the chatbots, users must connect the service with Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or other AI chatbot through a custom connector service or app, and provide the desired URL for integration.
