Nearly 100 alleged former rebels have surrendered to government forces in Talaingod, Davao del Norte on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The Provincial Government of Davao del Norte said 95 former rebels have surrendered - 74 from Talaingod and 21 from Agusan del Sur. The mass surrender was facilitated by the 60th Infantry Battalion and local government officials. 10ID commander, Major General Alvin Luzon, said the activity was not only a mere surrender but a shared commitment to lasting peace and development.
