Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur categorically stated that his government would neither permit nor support military operation in the province. The chief minister reminded federal authorities of the heavy toll, past campaigns had taken in the region. Neither Imran Khan nor the K-P government will allow any kind of operation,” he specifically mentioned. K-P chief minister urged Islamabad to engage in dialogue with Afghanistan to address cross-border terrorism, stressing that only negotiations could bring durable peace. Gandapur also called on the judiciary to uphold the constitution and deliver justice, particularly in cases concerning former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife.
