IntegritySince it was drained in 1612, the Beemster Polder has been an independent geographical and administrative unit. Beemster Polder has no buffer zone. Spatial planning interventions, resulting from social and economic developments, are assessed in the light of the World Heritage status of the Beemster Polder.
