Within the boundaries of the 946 ha property are located all the elements necessary to express the Outstanding Universal Value of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra. Adaptation to modern times has not jeopardized the authenticity of the cultural landscape. Protection and management requirementsThe Cultural Landscape of Sintra is part of the National Natural Park of Sintra - Cascais and has been protected by national legislation since 1994.
