On 16th August 2025, we received the sorrowful news about the death of our friend and fellow servant in the Lord’s vineyard, Rev. Dr. Peter Cruchley, Director for the World Council of Churches Commission for World Mission and Evangelism (WCC-CWME). We are very saddened by Peter’s demise and extend our condolences to his family, friends, colleagues at the WCC, members of the WCC-CWME and the entire ecumenical movement. May the Lord in whose loving embrace Peter now rests comfort and strength us as we grieve his departure and celebrate his life. Dr. Peter Cruchley.
