The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) joins the world in commemorating the International Day of Peace observed annually on 21st September. Our faith mandates us to be intentional in actions for sustainable peace that allows for sustainable development to happen. As we commemorate this day, we:Reaffirm our commitment to accompany communities in peace building, reconciliation, and mediation initiatives and efforts across Africa. As AACC, we pledge to keep working with all stakeholders to advance peace, justice, and reconciliation. On this International Day of Peace, let us remember and keep in mind that peace sustains the dreams of generations, nurtures a just society, and safeguards the integrity of creation to the benefit of all of God’s creation.
