A watermain break was identified on Parkway Avenue in the Municipality of McDougall early this morning (Sept. 5), and crews are actively working to repair the main and restore water. According to Township and local Health Unit officials, a boil water advisory is now in place for Parkway Avenue residents. A boil water advisory means that people who take their water from the municipal system should not drink it, use it for cooking, use it to brush their teeth or use it to wash food, unless brought to a rolling boil for one minute first.
