Discussions on Northern Ontario housing crisis to be held in Parry Sound

Legal clinic’s across Northern Ontario will be hosting simultaneous “Housing is a Human Right” rallies on Oct. 17 to bring awareness to Canada’s ongoing housing crisis. Ahead of the rallies, the Lake Country Community Legal Clinic is hosting two community engagement sessions in Parry Sound. Officials say these sessions will include a free meal, a button and sign making station, and provide a platform to discuss how the housing crisis is effecting our community. The sessions are slated for Sept. 26, and Oc.t 10 at 6 p.m. at the Bobby Orr Community Centre. “Your voice matters in shaping safe, affordable housing for all,” states a social media post promoting the event.
