A 49-lot residential subdivision proposed southwest of the Village of Rosseau received significant opposition at a Seguin council meeting on Sept. 15. The development is proposed for a 106 hectare lot south of Highway 632, which straddles Summit Drive and Maplehurst Road. Many local residents spoke on the issue, with the majority of the comments being against the subdivision. In order for the subdivision to proceed, amendments would need to be made to Seguin’s official plan.
