The province is investing more than $12 million across Parry Sound and Muskoka to help renew and rehabilitate critical infrastructure. “Our government’s unprecedented commitment to funding towns and townships across Parry Sound Muskoka is about more than dollars and cents – it’s about strengthening our communities, supporting families, and ensuring every resident has the opportunity to thrive,” said MPP Graydon Smith. “By investing in these municipalities, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant future for the entire region.”In 2026, Ontario will allocate $400 million in OCIF funding to help 423 small, rural and northern communities address critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water and wastewater systems. The minimum grant amount for municipalities will increase to $125,000 from $100,000.
