The owners behind the Rising Sun in Truro have bid farewell to punters after 11 years at the helm. However, Tom has confirmed that they still have their Irish bar, Fitzpatrick’s on Quay Street in Truro, which was named after his mother’s maiden name. Among the many accolades The Rising Sun has received since Tom and Katie took it on, it has been named one of the best pubs in the whole of the UK. The pub has also been used by the Truro Male Choir who have regularly sung there for more than a decade.
