More infoA toilet block at a popular skatepark in a Cornish seaside town has been destroyed by vandals and is closed. The toilets at Concrete Waves Skatepark were targeted as light fixtures were broken, vents ripped off the wall and toilets smashed up. Newquay Town Council has called the damage "criminal destruction" and added it is an unacceptable level of "recklessness" carried out by "a few mindless individuals". Newquay Town Council said: "We are extremely disappointed to report that the toilets at the skatepark have been severely vandalised once again - causing extensive, deliberate damage. "This is NOT minor damage - this is criminal destruction of public property.
