[Image: Facebook]Steven Spielberg has been fanboying all over Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film, One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Anderson screened the film at the DGA theatre in LA last week, followed by a conversation with Spielberg, with the pair discussing the adaptation process, casting Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio del Toro, as well as the Stanley Kubrick film Spielberg compared it to. Referring to the book by Thomas Pynchon that started the idea, Anderson said, “I loved that book. I loved it, and I loved it so much that I thought about adapting him. We loved it,” Spielberg enthusiastically wrapped up.
