[Image: Daily Revs / Facebook]Huawei and JAC Motors officially launched their luxury flagship sedan recently, the Maextro S800, and orders have already hit 6,500 within 30 days in China. The Maextro S800 is a lot of car, measuring 5,4 metres long, 2 metres wide, and 1,5 metres tall, surpassing even the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in size. The pure electric model has a dual-motor setup with 390 kW power and a 95 kWh battery. In terms of performance, the S800 offers 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds (EV dual-motor), 4.7 seconds (EREV tri-motor), and 4.9 seconds (EREV dual-motor). A video comparing the Huawei Maextro S800 and the Mercedes-Maybach S680 was produced and released by Huawei as part of their promotional campaign for the Maextro S800, which is being touted as a challenger to the Maybach legacy.
