[Image: ECR / X]Leigh Matthews’ family have reacted in shock after her killer, Donovan Moodley, was recommended for parole by the Correctional Supervision and Parole Board on Monday, following his 20-year stint in prison. Moodley, who kidnapped and killed Bond University student Leigh Matthews in 2004, has been eligible for parole since 2018, but her family has fiercely opposed early release. Moodley received a life sentence for murdering Leigh, along with 15 years for kidnapping and 10 years for extortion.
