[Image: ahlandubai / IG]Everyone is jumping on the AI edit trend these days, and the latest celebrity ‘victim’ is Dua Lipa, who seems to have become the unintended t-shirt model for sports teams like PSG, Bayern Munich, Valencia and even the Punjab Kings. A selfie of Dua Lipa wearing the t-shirt with the words “Show me your books” on it sparked a meme frenzy, and the internet did its thing, with fans using AI tools to edit the shirt with logos of their favourite football clubs, IPL teams, brands, and even political motives. An X user uploaded the images with the caption, “Respect to Dua Lipa for fearlessly standing with Palestine, using her platform for truth and justice when silence is the easy way out. Courage looks like this.”The viral images have since (obviously) been found to be fake. While many enjoyed seeing Dua Lipa model their team’s colours, not everyone was happy, with some saying it takes away from the “authenticity” of the meme.
