TESTING is now underway on the 299.8km Xi’an - Yan'an high speed line in northwest China. Testing of the Panzhou - Xingyi high-speed line in Guizhou province in southwest China commenced on September 6. Testing of the Jingmen - Jingzhou high speed line in Hubei province in central China started at the beginning of this month. Jingmen West will provide interchange with the Shanghai - Chongqing - Chengdu high-speed line, currently under construction, and with the Xiangyang - Jingmen high-speed line. Trial operations have now commenced on the Shenyang - Baidu section of the Shenyang - Jiamusi high-speed line in northeast China.
