Paul Sewald, who came over from Cleveland at the trade deadline despite being on the 15-day IL with a shoulder injury, was activated off of the 60-day IL, where the Tigers assigned him immediately following the trade. José Urquidy, who signed a one-year, $1 million deal (with a $4 million club option for 2026) in the offseason, also consented to an assignment to Triple-A. But Sewald has the chance to join Kyle Finnegan in the 'win' column in a hypothetical audit of the Tigers' trade deadline, and that's something both the Tigers and Harris desperately need.
