SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) is gearing up for the Summer 2026 season by expanding with nine new routes, six new destinations and increased connectivity across Europe, North America and Asia, with the aim of reinforcing Copenhagen’s role as Scandinavia’s global hub.
SAS Expands for SummerSummer 2026 marks a jump in capacity, with a 20 percent increase in seat capacity for flights departing from Copenhagen.
The Summer 2026 schedule will have the most destinations of any SAS Summer schedule yet, combining high-demand business routes with leisure travel destinations in order to give passengers smoother connections and greater flexibility.
The nine new routes (including six new destinations) coming to SAS next summer are as follows:Copenhagen – Mumbai, starting 2 June 2026, operating five times weekly;Copenhagen – Istanbul, starting 26 March 2026, operating daily;Copenhagen – Riga, starting 8 March 2026, operating three times daily;Copenhagen – Luxembourg, starting 9 March 2026, operating two times daily;Copenhagen – Bordeaux , starting 15 May 2026, operating two times weekly;Copenhagen – Marseille, starting 22 June 2026, operating two times weekly during peak months;Copenhagen – Visby, starting 22 June 2026, operating three times weekly during peak months;Stockholm – Madrid , starting 29 March 2026, operating two times weekly;Oslo – Hamburg , starting 30 March 2026, operating two times weekly.
Flights for Summer 2026 will be available to book starting on Sept. 22, 2025 via flysas.com.
