“We were renting a farm…a 320 acre farm,” George explains, “so he (Henry Ford) bought the farm.” When George was “six or seven” years old Ford would come out to the farm in a black, four-door Ford car, while his bodyguards would follow closely behind in Lincolns, Mann recalls. George Mann has a boatload of Henry Ford stories and even went on to enjoy a long career at Ford Tractor.
