Gardaí investigating the murder of Ian Walsh in county Tipperary have arrested a man in his late teens. The 49-year-old former Irish Rail employee was found with stab wounds at his home in Carrick-on-Suir in the early hours of the 4th of August. Gardaí arrested the man this morning for questioning in relation to the investigation. Gardaí found Ian Walsh’s body at his home on Cregg road after concerns were raised for his welfare.
