The government has launched a new safety training programme aimed at the night-time economy. The Safe and Sound initiative offers free online modules for staff in pubs, clubs, restaurants, theatres, and festivals in nine pilot areas, including Dublin, Cork, and Galway. Training covers sexual harassment prevention, bystander intervention, drink spiking awareness, and supporting vulnerable people.
