Mohammad Bin Juhari (transliterated), 64, faced eight charges, including fraud and violations of the Road Traffic Act and the Motor Vehicles Act. He pleaded guilty to four of the charges, with the remaining charges being taken into consideration during sentencing. According to Shin Min Daily News, Mohammad had reconnected with a friend, Chew Wei Jin (transliterated), on Feb 7, 2024. Mohammad claimed to have seven winning horse racing tickets and offered to sell them at a discounted price.
